Description
Newport 2.5+ has a precision milled face with a Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) insert, which contributes to a softer sound and a consistent feel at impact. Chain-link milling improves ball roll and provides a predictable response on every putt. The slightly wider profile than a traditional Newport 2, but narrower than a Squareback 2, creates visual security at address and helps stabilise contact. The Jet neck design provides extra face awareness through the stroke, which can be beneficial for players who prefer a slightly more rotating putting stroke. 303 stainless steel mill, Newport 2.5+ is designed for balance and control. The integrated sole plate in 6061 aircraft aluminium allows weight distribution to the edges for a higher MOI (Moment of Inertia), which reduces twisting at impact and produces a more stable putt.
Studio Carbon Steel (SCS), The precision milled carbon steel insert gives a characteristically soft sound and feel at impact. To meet modern requirements, it has been equipped with an electroless nickel plating that contributes to better durability.
Chain-Link Face Milling, This technology reduces the contact points between ball and putter insert through a structured surface that dampens the sound and produces the rolling properties preferred on tour. At the same time, feel and feedback are preserved at impact.
