Description
The face also has the brand new H.O.T Face Technology and has been designed to maximise ball speed at 15 points across the entire face. So you don’t need to hit the precise sweet spot to get good distance on your shots. The face is also extended under the sole, which Cobra calls PWRShell Face Cup Design, allowing the lower part of the face to flex more which gives a more forgiving club with higher ball speed on thin hits.
Just like the fairway clubs, the hybrids have Cobra Baffler Rails in the sole. These rails lower the centre of gravity for a higher trajectory, but above all they stabilise the construction and let the club glide through the grass more easily for more speed through the contact with the ball.
H.O.T Face Technolgy, (Highly Optimised Topology). Using data from thousands of shot simulations, Cobra has optimised the thickness in 15 different zones to maximise the ball speed over a larger area of the face. These zones create visual peaks and valleys that look like a topological map, hence the name.
