MEZZ.1 MAX is a further development of MEZZ.1 – but with a 20% larger club head for increased stability and forgiveness. It is designed for golfers who prefer larger putters or simply want maximum security in every putt. The result is a putter that is almost as forgiving as DF 2.1 – but with a more appealing appearance.
Like its smaller sibling model, the MEZZ.1 MAX is a mallet putter designed to provide optimal control and consistency without compromising on design or feel. It looks more like a traditional putter – but below the surface is technology that helps you keep the blade square throughout the putt.
The body is CNC milled from 6061 aircraft aluminium and has a midsection in brushed 303 stainless steel, which gives a balanced feel and a distinctive sound at impact. The finish in black anodised aluminium combined with brushed steel creates a premium look.
MEZZ.1 MAX is based on L.A.B. Golf’s patented Lie Angle Balance technology, which makes the blade automatically want to stay square without having to adjust with hands or wrists. This means a putter that rolls the ball straight – even on less perfect hits.
The putter has 2 degrees of built-in shaft lean to make it easier to hit the ball when you putt. For best performance, MEZZ.1 MAX will be played with the Press II grip (1.5 degree), which further optimises setup and launch.
MEZZ.1 MAX is a great choice for players who want a larger, more stable putter that combines modern technology with a classic feel – and that really helps you sink more putts.

Shaft lean, By having an already built-in shaft lean in the putter, it is easier to hit the ball. When you hit the ball during putting, the ball starts rolling forward earlier, leading to more consistent distance control out on the greens.

Press grip, The L.A.B Golf patented Press Grip is available in different versions, with 1.5, 2 and 3 degree built-in lean. This is to create a natural setup when using a putter with shaft lean. This way, you can address the ball in a natural way, despite the built-in shaft lean.

Lie Angle Balanced, L.A.B Golf stands for “Lie Angle Balanced”, and this is where the Zero Torque concept originated. The idea behind L.A.B was to create a putter that stays square throughout your putting stroke. The centre of gravity of the putter is balanced in a way that puts it precisely in the middle of the head, no matter how you hold it.

Hand-built and balanced, All L.A.B Golf models are hand-built with the highest precision in their own factories. Each putter passes between 5 and 10 people before being delivered to the customer. They are well known for their careful quality control, both in terms of balance and cosmetics on all models.
