Description
OZ.1 is L.A.B. Golf’s first solid-body mid-mallet putter in half-moon shape – and their most tour-inspired model yet. The result of a close collaboration with professional golfer Adam Scott. The inspiration comes from both classic putter shapes and details from high-performance sports cars, resulting in a modern silhouette with elegant lines and distinctive balance.
The putter is 100% Lie Angle Balanced and therefore delivers a natural square putting stroke without having to adjust with hands or wrists. It is designed to roll the ball straight – no matter where on the face you hit – and feels stable even on off-centre shots, just like DF3 and MEZZ.1 MAX.
The solid club head, made of one piece of aluminium, has no “holes” or “teeth”, which gives a cleaner feel at impact. The sound and feel are carefully tuned to appeal to most players – this is L.A.B’s most normal feel yet, without compromising on technology.
The OZ.1 comes with a 69° lie angle as standard, which suits the majority of golfers. The putter comes with a 2° shaft lean for a more forward leaning setup. It is matched with a Press grip that is angled backwards, which places the hands straight across the face and gives a natural position at address.

Shaft lean, By having an already built-in shaft lean in the putter, it is easier to hit the ball. When you hit the ball during putting, the ball starts rolling forward earlier, leading to more consistent distance control out on the greens.
Select insert on face, The Oz.1i insert is made of stainless steel, which gives higher ball speed from the blade and a more solid feel. This can help you with distance control if you have a tendency to leave putts short in their line. If you prefer a softer feel and the experience of being able to really hit the ball, you should instead choose the model without insert.
Press grip, The L.A.B Golf patented Press Grip is available in different versions, with 1.5, 2 and 3 degree built-in lean. This is to create a natural setup when using a putter with shaft lean. This way, you can address the ball in a natural way, despite the built-in shaft lean.
Lie Angle Balanced, L.A.B Golf stands for “Lie Angle Balanced”, and this is where the Zero Torque concept originated. The idea behind L.A.B was to create a putter that stays square throughout your putting stroke. The centre of gravity of the putter is balanced in a way that puts it precisely in the middle of the head, no matter how you hold it.
Hand-built and balanced, All L.A.B Golf models are hand-built with the highest precision in their own factories. Each putter passes between 5 and 10 people before being delivered to the customer. They are well known for their careful quality control, both in terms of balance and cosmetics on all models.
