Description
The profile and shape of the iconic PING Eye2 wedge is the inspiration behind the “E” grind and is characterised by the high toe design that was made popular by Karsten Solheim’s iconic sand wedge from the early 1980s. This wedge has a narrower hosel and hollowed sole which resembles the original version of Eye2.
Tour-inspired design, The tour-inspired 8620 carbon steel head has a soft and stylish shape with a straighter leading edge for better results on full shots. The wedges are available in two different designs (Hydropearl 2.0 Chrome and Midnight).
More grooves – More spin, Wheel cut grooves that are precision milled with varying dimensions depending on the loft. The wedges with loft 46 to 52 are milled to maximise the volume of the grooves, which leads to more control on full shots. The wedges with loft 54 to 62 have more tightly spaced MicroMax grooves to give increased spin, not least around the green.
Face with friction, Precision milled grooves in combination with a high-friction face give you the spin and control you need to hit the best possible shots from any distance.
