Description
From the newly designed cherry bomb dots in the cavity with a precision-milled metal finish to Scotty’s new precision-shaped I-beam jet neck shaft assembly – and the series’ new double milled face – Super Select Fastback 1.5 returns as a high-performing mid-mallet for players who want the look and feel of a blade putter, but the stability and forgiveness of a mallet putter. The solid, precision milled face and a sole plate in 6061 aluminium give Super Select Fastback 1.5 greater MOI with more weight in the heel and toe together with adaptable sole weights in stainless steel, producing a putter that is confidence-inspiring in all situations. A redesigned jet neck I-beam shaft assembly is slightly reverse-curved and features a seamless mount where the shaft goes over the neck, providing an undisturbed view of the ball in a toe rotation configuration with almost a full shaft offset.
Dubbelfräst träffyta, The Super Select series launches a new double milled face that gives a completely new class of sound, feel and feedback, with a combination of the soft feel that was so appreciated in previous deep-milled putters with the feedback, consistent results and lovely roll that Scotty's later mid-milled putters have offered. After a deep milling pass over the face, a second pass evens out the tops of the face, producing a flatter and more consistent surface for the ball's contact with the face. This new double-milled face keeps up with Scotty Cameron's tour prototypes, giving the Super Select series a tour-inspired look and feel as well as the most consistent face yet.
Performance Weighting, All new Super Select putters feature performance weighting with customisable sole weights milled in the US either in 303 stainless steel or heavier tungsten for Newport and Newport 2. Together with specially designed aluminium sole plates on all Plus, mid-mallet and GOLO models, Scotty’s performance weighting concept gives optimal weight distribution and higher MOI so that each individual putter gets optimal balance and performance regardless of shaft length.
