The XXIO 14 introduces the new VR Titanium – a material that is 42% stronger and more durable than traditional titanium in golf clubs. This means that the face can be made thinner while increasing the total area with high MOI, which provides more forgiveness and higher ball speed over a larger part of the face. The ULTIFLEX construction combines the thin face with a stiffer outer edge to maximise energy transfer. Activwing, with two raised sections at the top of the club head, stabilises the club in the downswing and helps you get back to the right position at impact. This gives more consistent contact and better distance. High Grip Milled Pattern on the toe and heel helps maintain speed and direction even on hits outside the sweet spot. Built in Japan, the club weighs an average of 30–60 grams less than many other drivers, reducing strain on the body and making it easier to maintain swing speed over time. For the first time, the model is also equipped with an extremely easy-to-adjust hosel that can be adjusted up or down by up to 1.5°.
