FLTD CG, New for 2025 is an even lower centre of gravity (CG) in the long irons, which improves launch angle and playability, while a higher centre of gravity is designed to improve spin and control in the scoring clubs. The FLTD CG design strategically positions the centre of gravity lowest in the long irons and gradually moves it higher to optimise forgiveness and control with all clubs.
More Speed More Consistently, Another new feature is that the P790 introduces a completely new forged material on the face with ultra-high strength and speed (4340M), which is 20% stronger than previous generations. The increased strength of the 4340M enables a thinner club face and faster ball speeds while increasing the sweet spot surface by up to 24% (Compared to the 2023 P790).
