The Ping G440 driver family is created to deliver higher ball speed and longer shots through innovative improvements such as Ping’s deepest centre of gravity (CG) to date and a thinner, shallower club face. The G440 retains the forgiveness that Ping is known for and offers models adapted to different player types. G440 Max is suitable for most golfers with its forgiving design and adjustable rear weight to influence the ball's trajectory, while G440 LST is optimised for players with a high swing speed and produces less spin. For those who need slice correction, the G440 SFT is the perfect choice with a two-position adjustable weight. The new CarbonFly Wrap crown saves weight and lowers CG for more forgiveness and a pleasant sound at impact, while a hotter, thinner face produces increased ball speed and better consistency across the entire face. With Trajectory Tuning 2.0, the hosel offers eight-position loft and lie adjustment for fine-tuned performance. The G440 is 10 grams lighter than previous models, helping golfers swing faster and hit longer drives with precision and control. The length of Ping’s proprietary ALTA CB Blue shaft is 46 inches (1/4 inch longer than the previous model) to help golfers swing faster and generate more speed while maintaining a tight dispersion pattern. The standard length is 45.50 inches for PING Tour 2.0 (Chrome and Black) as well as for aftermarket options such as Project X Denali Red and Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Black.

CarbonFly Wrap Crown, Common to all three models (Max, LST, SFT) is the CarbonFly Wrap crown, which saves weight. The redistributed weight helps lower the centre of gravity (CG), ensures forgiveness and contributes to a more subdued and satisfying sound at impact.

Hotter, Thinner Face, The lower height of the face means the face can be thinner and more responsive, producing higher ball speeds and better consistency across the entire face, including the upper part of the heel.

Free-Hosel Technology, Weight removed from part of the hosel has been redistributed to lower mass and create Ping’s deepest centre of gravity to date. This brings the centre of gravity closer to the power line, giving higher ball speed, optimal spin and higher launch for longer and straighter shots.
