Description
DF 2.1 is the model that put L.A.B. Golf on the map. It looks a little different, but under the futuristic design hides a very stable and consistent putter.
The putter is 100% Lie Angle Balanced, which means the head stays square to the target throughout the movement – without having to compensate with your hands. This technology gives very consistent launch, even on off-centre shots, and makes it easier to keep the line from start to finish.
DF 2.1 is milled in its entirety from a piece of 6061 aircraft aluminium that is first forged and then CNC milled for maximum precision. The assembly takes place entirely in the USA, where each putter is built with the highest accuracy and finish.
The unusual club head is not only a visual identity – it also provides very good forgiveness. With a weight distribution that maximises stability, the DF 2.1 remains one of the most forgiving models in the L.A.B range.
DF 2.1 is optimal for those who dare to think outside the box and want a putter that helps them perform – no matter what it appears to come from.
Shaft lean, By having an already built-in shaft lean in the putter, it is easier to hit the ball. When you hit the ball during putting, the ball starts rolling forward earlier, leading to more consistent distance control out on the greens.
Press grip, The L.A.B Golf patented Press Grip is available in different versions, with 1.5, 2 and 3 degree built-in lean. This is to create a natural setup when using a putter with shaft lean. This way, you can address the ball in a natural way, despite the built-in shaft lean.
Lie Angle Balanced, L.A.B Golf stands for “Lie Angle Balanced”, and this is where the Zero Torque concept originated. The idea behind L.A.B was to create a putter that stays square throughout your putting stroke. The centre of gravity of the putter is balanced in a way that puts it precisely in the middle of the head, no matter how you hold it.
Hand-built and balanced, All L.A.B Golf models are hand-built with the highest precision in their own factories. Each putter passes between 5 and 10 people before being delivered to the customer. They are well known for their careful quality control, both in terms of balance and cosmetics on all models.
