Description
Darkspeed irons have a hollow construction, which allows the face to flex more for increased distance. The hollow construction also allows for more weight in the sole, producing a higher launch and more spin on the ball. Like drivers and FWs in the Darkspeed family, the irons have been equipped with the curved PWRShell face. On the irons, the face goes both down into the sole and up over the top, making the club more forgiving over a larger part of the face.
Just like in the driver, a PWR-Bridge weight is positioned to maximise ball speed while the face and sole can flex freely. The cavity in the club is filled with a soft foam that dampens vibrations and above all gives a soft sound at impact.
Note that the clubs have a dark grey colour instead of glossy chrome. The colour not only makes the clubs visually appealing, it also ensures it feels slightly smoother at address.
PWRSHELL Hot Face, Cobra’s proven technology has grown in size, and the PWRSHELL wraps seamlessly around all sides of the face to make the club stable on contacts outside the sweet spot. The back of the face has been designed using AI technology to streamline ball speed and power.
Softer Foam Microspheres, The hollow club construction is filled with a soft 920D foam that is in place to dampen vibrations and improve both feel and sound.
PWR-Bridge Weighting, A bridge at the back of the head is positioned to give more mass behind the ball when you hit. All to maximise support for powerful shots.
