Description
Cobra’s driver for players who have even, consistent contact, and who are looking for a driver that produces low spin and high ball speed. Cobra LTDx LS provides this by using two movable weights – 3 and 10 grammes respectively – which are positioned close to the face to provide mass directly behind the ball, while allowing you to adjust the ball flight between straight and slight fade. The driver has Cobra’s new PWR-COR Technology, which is a weight placed towards the front of the sole and near the face. This provides more mass close to the ball which produces high ball speed and low spin. The face contains H.O.T Face Technology and has been designed to maximise ball speed at 15 points across the entire face. So you don’t need to hit the precise sweet spot to get good distance on your shots. As with previous models, the CNC Infinity Face is milled by a robot to get as close as possible to the permitted COR values. The club head itself is made from both titanium and carbon fibre – stiff, lightweight materials which make it possible to position weight where it has the greatest effect. The adjustable MyFly hosel can be set to ± 1.5° in loft and also to a draw setting, a total of eight different positions. If you buy this Cobra club, you can order free Arccos sensors using a QR code on the clubs. Then you’ll have sensors for your entire set so that, with the Arccos Caddie app, you can automatically collect data from every shot on the course, generating lots of useful statistics about your game’s strengths and weaknesses.
H.O.T Face Technolgy, (Highly Optimised Topology). Using data from thousands of shot simulations, Cobra has optimised the thickness in 15 different zones to maximise the ball speed over a larger area of the face. These zones create visual peaks and valleys that look like a topological map, hence the name.
PWR-COR, A technology with internal and external weights in different materials to move as much weight low and forward as possible. All to reduce spin and deliver powerful ball speed at impact.
Multimaterial construction, The LTDx driver uses a multimaterial construction, with up to 30% more carbon fibre than before and a lighter and stronger titanium chassis to maximise stability. Cobra’s engineers have redesigned the previous T-Bar chassis to move more titanium towards the sole and around the circumference to lower the centre of gravity and increase MOI, resulting in a weight saving of 8 grammes.
