Cobra takes a clear step into the future with their new 3DP irons – a series where advanced manufacturing technology meets classic feel and modern performance demands. This is not just a new model range, but an entirely new way of constructing golf clubs.
Cobra 3DP is available in three different models, tailored to suit your level of play.
- Cobra 3DP MB (hcp 0–10) – A muscle back model focused on control and precision, but with more forgiveness than traditional blades. Ideal for skilled players who want maximum feedback without completely sacrificing stability.
- Cobra 3DP Tour (hcp 0–15) – A compact blade shape that combines feel with added forgiveness. A great option if you’re looking for precision but also a bit more help on off-centre strikes.
- Cobra 3DP X (hcp 15–30) – The most forgiving model in the range. It combines a game-improvement design with high launch, consistent distance and a soft feel – perfect for players who want help with both distance and direction.
Each clubhead in the Cobra 3DP range is manufactured using 3D printing in 2,600 layers of stainless steel, fused together with powerful lasers. This process gives designers far greater freedom compared to traditional casting or forging. The result is an optimised combination of shape, feel and forgiveness that has previously been difficult to achieve.
The internal lattice structure allows weight to be saved while increasing stability. This delivers a higher MOI (resistance to twisting), more consistent ball speed across the face and improved accuracy – even on off-centre hits.
Cobra has managed to combine properties that often require compromise. You get high forgiveness in a compact design, a low centre of gravity (CG) for improved launch, tighter dispersion in both distance and direction, and consistent ball speed across the face.
At the same time, the construction delivers a soft and solid feel reminiscent of forged irons – despite the very different technology behind it.
