Square 2 Square #7 is based on Odyssey’s most advanced Ai-Dual insert – a dual-layer urethane insert developed with artificial intelligence. The softer outer layer and the firmer inner create consistent ball speed across the entire face and give a stable, controlled feel in every putt. The updated Forward Roll Design (FRD) groove is deeper and more aggressive, working with the insert’s two layers to provide a more effective forward role with a 19° slope. It helps generate a stable ball start and reduce jumping if contact not perfect. The putter’s centre shaft design places the shaft directly under the centre of gravity, which means that the putter rests with its toe up – the opposite of traditional models with toe hang. The result is a Zero Torque construction that keeps the face square longer through the stroke, something that is appreciated by golfers who want to minimise twisting. The built-in forward press of 2° allows you to position your hands correctly at address and reduces the risk of opening the blade during a manual press. The new Reverse Taper grip is adapted to the tilt of the shaft and gives a natural and comfortable setup. The model comes with the SL 120 shaft, developed with feedback from tour players. It’s heavier and stiffer than the SL 90 and contributes to stability and good control in this putter style.
