Description
Max 1/2 Ball Cruiser is based on Odyssey’s Square 2 Square platform where the shaft is placed directly under the centre of gravity of the putter. This means that the putter rests with its toe up and minimises twisting at the moment of impact – a great support for players who want to keep the blade square throughout the movement. The longer 38" cruiser length provides a more upright and controlled setup, often leading to a calmer and more consistent stroke.
½ Ball alignment frames the ball and gives a clear visual reference, which facilitates both alignment and a centred contact.
The putter is equipped with Odyssey’s most advanced Ai-Dual insert. The double-layer urethane insert developed with artificial intelligence combines a soft outer layer and a firmer inner for consistent ball speed and predictable distance control across the entire face.
The refined FRD (Forward Roll Design) groove is deeper and more aggressive, and with a 19° slope it creates a more effective forward role that gives a stable ball start.
A built-in forward press with a 2° tilt positions your hands correctly without having to adjust manually, providing a natural placement at address.
Ai-Dual Insert, The white face – inspired by Odyssey’s classic White Hot insert – now has a modern look with black outer edges which makes it easier to line the putter up against the ball. The insert is developed using artificial intelligence and consists of two layers of urethane: a softer outer layer and a firmer inner. Together they provide even ball speed across the entire face, a better forward roll and a lovely feel at impact.
