Description
Tri-Hot S2S Black Jailbird is based on Odyssey’s classic Jailbird design but has been updated with an advanced multi-material construction in aluminium, steel and over 140 grams of tungsten. Placing more than 80 per cent of the weight below the top line creates high stability while moving the centre of gravity forward to support the putter’s Zero-Torque properties.
The shaft is placed closer to the face than on many other putters in the same category, which helps the putter head stay more stable through the stroke and reduces unwanted twisting. The result is a more consistent strike and greater confidence over the ball.
Odyssey’s Ai-DUAL insert is located in the face: a dual-layer construction in urethane with a soft outer layer and a firmer inner layer. The combination delivers more consistent ball speed across the entire face while maintaining the soft feel that many golfers appreciate. Together with the new Forward Roll Design groove, the insert helps the ball start rolling faster, which can provide better distance control and a more predictable putts.
