Description
Tri-Hot S2S Black Seven builds on Odyssey’s work in the Zero-Torque category with an advanced multi-material construction in aluminium, steel and over 140 grams of tungsten. By placing most of the weight further forward and closer to the face, Odyssey has created a putter that minimises twisting at impact and provides a stable feel throughout the putting stroke.
The shaft is placed closer to the face than on many other Zero-Torque putters, which helps to reduce unwanted shaft lean and make the setup more natural. The face features Odyssey’s most advanced insert yet – Ai-ONE Dual Urethane. The dual-layer insert combines a soft outer layer with a firmer inner layer to create more consistent ball speed across the entire face, while giving a soft and responsive feel.
The new Forward Roll Design groove is deeper and more aggressive than previous generations. Together with the insert’s construction, it helps the ball start rolling faster, which can provide more consistent distance control and more predictable putts.
