Description
The Tri-Hot S2S Jailbird Cruiser builds on a new generation of “Zero Torque” putters – engineered to completely eliminate torque at impact. Through an advanced multi-material construction in aluminium, steel and over 140 grams of tungsten, Odyssey has moved the centre of gravity far forward, allowing the shaft to be attached to the top line. The result is a more intuitive and natural set-up without the need for an inclined shaft.
The AI-developed Ai-DUAL insert consists of two layers of urethane: a soft outer for feel and a firmer inner for speed and consistency across the entire face. Together with the new FRD Groove design, with a more aggressive 19° tilt, a better forward roll is promoted – both up and down the blade.
The Cruiser version also has a heavier club head, a longer SL140 shaft and a 17-inch grip for players who prefer a slightly longer setup with extra stability and rhythm in the putting stroke.
