Description
Tour-inspired iron with even ball speed and less dispersion for maximum distance control and consistent results. The activated elastomer insert allows the centre of gravity to be moved further down the club head, giving improved feel and sound together with the multimaterial tray in the cavity. A more rounded leading edge ensures optimal contact with the ground for clean, powerful contacts.
Closely spaced, precision milled MicroMax grooves (on average 4 grooves more than previously) ensures consistent ball flight and spin for more precision in the long irons and better control with the short irons and wedges, especially in wet conditions. The long irons (3-5) are slightly more compact than the predecessor i210. The mid and short irons retain their blade length from before. Blue dots are standard lie on this set.
Rounded leading edge, The design of the sole is similar to the successful i210 iron with a more rounded leading edge and generous bounce to improve contact with the ground for a clean and solid connection with the ball.
Multimaterial construction, The 431 stainless steel head also contains an elastomer insert to lower the centre of gravity while, together with the tungsten weights in the toe and heel, increasing MOI. The multimaterial tray in the cavity is designed to produce the sound and feel that you and the tour players prefer.
Lower centre of gravity and higher MOI, The activated elastomer insert saves lots of weight, which is then redistributed to lower the centre of gravity for more distance and increased MOI. This also makes the club more forgiving. The elastomer insert provides reinforcement and more consistent flex and energy transfer across the whole face.
