Description
Designed with insights from Ping tour players and extensive testing, the S159 wedges are designed to appeal to golfers of all levels. The 8620 carbon steel cast head has a striking shape with a leading edge that favours full shots. An elastomer insert behind the face creates a soft and solid feel at impact. At address, the compact head provides an improved transition at the hosel with a constant offset, seamlessly integrating with Blueprint S and T irons. With six different grinds, 25 different loft/grind combinations in two finishes, Hydropearl Chrome and Midnight, as well as high-performance wheeled grooves for maximum spin and control, the S159 wedges offer a customised experience for every golf game.
Tour-inspired design, The tour-inspired 8620 carbon steel head has a soft and stylish shape with a straighter leading edge for better results on full shots. The wedges are available in two different designs (Hydropearl 2.0 Chrome and Midnight).
More grooves – More spin, Wheel cut grooves that are precision milled with varying dimensions depending on the loft. The wedges with loft 46 to 52 are milled to maximise the volume of the grooves, which leads to more control on full shots. The wedges with loft 54 to 62 have more tightly spaced MicroMax grooves to give increased spin, not least around the green.
Face with friction, Precision milled grooves in combination with a high-friction face give you the spin and control you need to hit the best possible shots from any distance.
