Description
PING i240 is designed for golfers who want the sleek look and control of a top iron but with extra stability and higher ball flight. The new lighter cavity badge along with an elastomer insert allows for better perimeter weighting, which increases forgiveness especially in the longer irons and reduces dispersion by up to 11%.
Behind the face there is an elastomer and ABS badge which improves the sound and gives a softer, more responsive feel at impact. The forged 431 stainless steel club heads have a tour-inspired shape that provides both high ball flight and precise distance control. For those who want to further fine-tune performance, there are options with both Power Spec and Retro Spec where the loft is adjusted (This is via custom orders).
The grooves on the face have larger gaps to increase spin on shots from the fairway.
