Description
ZXi5+ combines a forged feel with a construction developed for high ball speed. i-FORGED reinforces the area from the high part of the toe and along the topline for increased strength and stability, while the forged face has been made softer for a comfortable sensation. MainFrame iQ consists of a network with varying thicknesses of precision milled grooves, channels and recesses on the back of the face. At impact, these flex together to streamline energy transfer and create more consistent ball speed across the face. The head is forged in S20C steel and has tungsten weight in the toe on the long and mid irons, which helps maintain ball speed and spin on off-centre contacts. Compared to the ZXi5, the ZXi5+ has longer blades, wider soles and stronger loft for those who prioritise distance and forgiveness.
Tour VT Sole, Srixon’s Tour VT Sole takes the surface to a whole new level through a unique combination of sole widths, bounce angles and milled grooves. The technology helps the club glide smoothly through the fairway, rough and sand without losing momentum, even if you hit the ground slightly before or after the ball.
Progressive Grooves, Irons 3-7 feature wider grooves optimised for longer shots and consistent performance in all weather conditions. Iron 8-SW have deeper and denser grooves that effectively eliminate interference from grass and dirt to generate more spin on approach shots. Laser milling between each notch, through all lofts, increases friction and contributes to consistent spin in all conditions.
