Description
Ai-Dual #7 combines the well-known seven-shape’s clear sightlines with Odyssey’s most advanced insert yet. The double-layer urethane insert developed with artificial intelligence gives even ball speed across the entire face and helps you maintain distance control even on less perfect contacts. The soft outer layer and firmer inner give a supple feel at impact and a more predictable roll.
The new FRD (Forward Roll Design) groove is deeper and more aggressively designed. With a slope of 19°, it works together with the insert’s construction for a stable ball start with a better forward roll, which reduces jumps right after impact.
The putter comes with a light steel shaft that has 20-30 grams of counterweight at the grip end. This contributes to increased stability and makes it easier to repeat a consistent stroke – something that many golfers appreciate in the #7 model.
Ai-Dual Insert, The white face – inspired by Odyssey’s classic White Hot insert – now has a modern look with black outer edges which makes it easier to line the putter up against the ball. The insert is developed using artificial intelligence and consists of two layers of urethane: a softer outer layer and a firmer inner. Together they provide even ball speed across the entire face, a better forward roll and a lovely feel at impact.
