Description
Precision milled 303 stainless steel provides perimeter weighting and forms the basis for a solid and double milled face while the sole and flange are constructed of lightweight 6061 aluminium. Designed with an optimally placed centre of gravity and desired MOI, the Phantom 7 features the series’ newly created Full Contact grip and a stepless steel shaft with a single mid-bend aimed down the target line, providing a stable mallet model that is near-face balanced and has high MOI. The straight sightline on the top and two long sightlines on the flange that frame the ball give a confidence-inspiring impression and help improve your aim. The Stepless steel shaft has been developed to minimise the face rotation – the arc – of the putting stroke by means of a mid-bend aimed directly down the target line.
All Phantom Black putters feature a specially designed Matador grip with urethane coating and matching Phantom Black head cover and shaft band.
Reworked multi-material construction, The 2024 Phantom models all feature Scotty’s proven construction methodology with 303 stainless steel for the putter’s face and head, integrated with a 6061 aluminium flange/sole plate reworked for 2024 and now stiffer, giving these multi-material models better stability and a more solid feel. Together with optimised and redistributed vibration damping, all new Phantom models have been fine-tuned, precision milled and gently crafted for specific functionality with conscious aesthetic updates to all contours, attachments, angles and radii.
Chain-Link Face Milling, This technology reduces the contact points between ball and putter insert through a structured surface that dampens the sound and produces the rolling properties preferred on tour. At the same time, feel and feedback are preserved at impact.
