The hottest golf shoes of the year – our favourites for 2026

Time for new, fresh golf shoes for the start of the season? Here are this year's best shoe models! We also took the opportunity to ask Dennis Larsson, buyer, about this year's news and trends.

Are there any trends among this year's golf shoes?

– Yes, several clear trends are evident among this year's golf shoes. It has become increasingly popular to play in more sneaker-inspired golf shoes. They are sportier, lighter, and often more "sleek," meaning they resemble regular sneakers more than traditional golf shoes. Golf sneakers usually focus more on comfort on the course, which is also reflected in the fact that they are lighter than a classic shoe. However, we have noticed that the younger, new generation of golfers tends to prefer wearing a pair of classic golf shoes. I believe this is because that's how it used to look for "the traditional golfer," and fashion has leaned towards a more "straightforward" style in recent years.

What types of shoes have we purchased this year?

– We certainly follow trends and stay active with our eyes and ears so that we don't miss anything. Some trendy models I think you should check out are Samba Golf and Gazelle Golf from Adidas Originals, Vent 500 from J.Lindeberg, and The Contour Collection from Goatlane. However, we also believe that a wide range of all types of golf shoes from well-known brands such as Footjoy, Under Armour, and Puma is important. All feet are different, and everyone has different requirements for how a shoe should look and perform. With these things in mind, we try to build a range that suits everyone from the person who buys limited edition shoes to collect, to the person with slightly more challenging feet who often prioritises comfort over appearance.

What do you think is important to consider when buying new golf shoes?

– It may sound obvious, but comfort and appearance. You'll be walking in these shoes for many hours, so it's crucial that they're comfortable and stable throughout the entire round. And of course, you want to look good on the course, so you need something that feels great on your feet while also being easy on the eyes!
